To equip students with the employability and technical skills required for employment and/or advanced training in the growing field of health related occupations.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
As part of a simulated work environment at Riverchase Career Connection Center, Health Science Academy students are given the opportunity to prepare for various health professions through provision of a rigorous curriculum, hands on activities, guest lecturers, simulation labs, community service opportunities, leadership opportunities and job shadowing. Our Program provides a valuable learning experience where students learn skills that are in high demand.  Through a comprehensive program, students will work toward becoming college and career ready.  All Health Science students have the opportunity to further their knowledge and skills by participating in state and national leadership conferences.  Students are also eligible to obtain industry recognized credentials.  Looking for a career with impact?
